General Terms and Conditions

1.1 - Domain Ownership
The website www.easetep.com is registered under the .com Domain/Subdomain Registration Regulation and is managed in accordance with the legislation applicable to electronic commerce.

1.2 - Rights and Property
Easetep is a trademark registered with the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) under number 652141, intended for exclusive online sale.
The brand is the property of the company Tepsol – Técnicas de Proteção Solar, Lda., hereinafter referred to as “Tepsol”, with headquarters at Rua Engenheiro Albertino Filipe Pisca Eugénio, Zona Industrial de Santarém, 2005-002 Santarém, Portugal.
Tepsol is registered with the Commercial Registry Office of Santarém under number 2778, with corporate number 503097799, and has a share capital of €100,000.
 
2.1 - These General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use apply to all users of the website www.easetep.com, as well as to all commercial transactions carried out through the means made available on the platform. Browsing the website, as well as the purchase of any product, implies full and unrestricted acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by the User and Customer.

2.2 - Each order placed with Tepsol, through the Easetep online store, is governed by these General Conditions of Sale and Use, to the exclusion of any other conditions.
By placing an order, the Customer declares to have read, understood and fully accepted these Terms and Conditions.

2.3 - By using this website, the User accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms of Use, as well as the respective Privacy Policy.

2.4 - Easetep reserves the right to change, at any time and without prior notice, these Terms and Conditions, product prices, current promotions, shipping costs or any other information or features contained on the website.
By placing an order after the publication of changes, the Customer automatically accepts the updated terms and conditions.

2.5 - Certain services made available through this website may be provided by third parties contracted by Easetep, namely the transport and delivery services of the purchased products, which will act in the name and on behalf of Tepsol.

2.6 - All prices indicated on the website www.easetep.com include VAT at the legal rate in force on the date of the transaction.
3.1 - When registering on the website www.easetep.com, the User agrees to provide complete, correct and updated information in the required fields of the registration form.

3.2 - The User must keep his/her personal data updated, notably changes of address, contact or other relevant data, through his/her personal area or by notifying Easetep as soon as possible.

3.3 - Upon registration, the User will be asked for a password. This must be kept confidential and never shared with third parties.

3.4 - The User is solely and exclusively responsible for all activities carried out with his/her account and password, including any orders placed, even by unauthorized third parties.

3.5 - If the User is aware or suspects that his/her password has been compromised or used by third parties without authorization, the User must immediately inform Easetep, preferably by the telephone number indicated on the website or by email to geral@easetep.com.
4.1- To place an order, the Customer must have previously successfully registered on the platform www.easetep.com.

4.2 - After registration, the Customer must correctly fill in all mandatory fields of the configurator for the product they wish to purchase.

4.3 - In case of doubts during the configuration process, it is recommended to previously consult the supporting documentation available on the website, namely:
– Guides on how to take measurements,
– Installation instructions,
– Product technical data sheets.

4.4 - Once the configuration is complete, the desired products must be added to the shopping cart.

4.5 - When accessing the cart, the Customer must check:
– If the products, quantities, colors and specifications are correct,
– If additional accessories are needed for installation,
– If there are any changes to be made before finalizing the order.

4.6 - The Customer must choose the delivery address, You may choose to use your usual address or provide an alternative address.

4.7 - Next, you must select the payment method available on the website, which may include:
– Debit Card
– Credit Card (Visa and MasterCard)
– Multibanco Reference
– MB WAY

4.8 - After completing the purchase, the Customer will receive an automatic email confirming the transaction.

4.9 - If the data indicated in the order is not correct, the Customer must request its immediate correction by email: geral@easetep.com.

4.10 - The order will only be considered valid after confirmation of payment.

4.11 - Validation of the purchase order implies that the Customer fully acknowledges and accepts these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use of the website www.easetep.com.

4.12 - The data recorded electronically by Easetep constitutes full proof of the transactions carried out between platform and the Customer.

4.13 - It is Easetep's responsibility to file the electronic document that formalizes the purchase and sale contract, ensuring its availability for consultation by the Customer and the competent authorities, whenever legally required.

4.14 - Orders with intra-community or extra-community VAT regime must be previously analyzed and processed via email, through the contact: geral@easetep.com.
5.1 - Payment for orders may be made using the payment methods available on the website www.easetep.com, including, but not limited to, credit card, ATM reference, MB WAY or bank transfer.

5.2 - Orders will only be processed after confirmation of full payment, regardless of the method used. Easetep reserves the right to automatically cancel any order for which payment is not made within 48 hours.

5.3 - After payment confirmation, the order will be prepared and/or will enter the custom/customized manufacturing process, depending on the product selected, and will be shipped within the estimated time indicated in the product section at the time of purchase, except in exceptional circumstances duly communicated to the customer.

5.4 - Shipping is carried out by carriers contracted by Easetep. Delivery times vary depending on the location and type of product ordered. Easetep is not responsible for delays attributable to carriers or force majeure.

5.5 - Shipping costs are clearly indicated at the time of purchase, before the order is confirmed, and are subject to change without prior notice.
6.1 - Easetep's automatic order management system automatically cancels any order not paid for within 48 hours of submission. After this period, the Customer must place a new order if they wish to proceed with the purchase.

6.2 - The Customer may request cancellation of the order after payment, provided that the request is made before the start of production of customized products, which corresponds to the first business day following confirmation of payment. The cancellation request must be sent by email to geral@easetep.com, indicating the order number.

6.3 - The cancellation will only be considered valid after express confirmation by email from Easetep. In these cases, the amount paid will be fully refunded to the Customer, using the same payment method used for the purchase.

6.4 - Once production has begun, no cancellation requests will be accepted, nor will there be any refund of amounts, given that the products are personalized and produced according to the Customer's instructions. This policy is in accordance with the provisions of article 17, paragraph c) of Decree-Law no. 24/2014, which excludes the right of free termination in contracts for the supply of personalized goods.
7.1 - The delivery time for orders may vary between 5 and 10 working days, and may, in exceptional situations (e.g. production overload or stock shortage), extend up to 15 working days.

7.2 - Whenever the delivery time may be delayed by more than 10 working days, Easetep undertakes to inform the Customer by email.

7.3 - Deliveries are made by contracted carriers. The Customer will be notified by email at the time of shipment of the order, with the relevant data for tracking.

7.4 - Each shipment will include the following documents
- shipment information email with the instructions to follow
- Invoice/Receipt
- Photo of the shipped volumes indicating the volume number
- The product's Technical Sheet must be downloaded directly from the website easetep.com in the product section

7.5 – VERY IMPORTANT
Upon receipt of the goods, the Customer must immediately check the condition of the order.
If damaged or missing volumes are detected, it is mandatory to register the complaint on the carrier's receipt document, before signing. The absence of this record may prevent the complaint from being processed and/or refunds from being granted.

7.6 - The delivery time, after dispatch, varies according to the size of the products:
- For goods up to 2 meters long: delivery within 48 working hours;
- For goods over 2 meters: delivery within 72 working hours.
- If these deadlines are exceeded, the Customer must contact Easetep to check with the carrier.

7.7 - Shipping costs are shared by the Customer as follows:
- Mainland Portugal: €8.61 + VAT
- Autonomous Regions (Madeira and Azores): €39.00 + VAT
8.1 - Under the terms of Decree-Law No. 24/2014, the Customer has the right to terminate the contract, without needing to provide a reason, within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the order by the Customer or a third party indicated by the Customer.

8.2 - To exercise the right of free resolution, the Customer must communicate their decision to Easetep, by means of an unequivocal statement, sent to the email geral@easetep.com. You may use the model withdrawal form available on the website, although this is not mandatory.

8.3 - In the event of withdrawal, all payments made, including standard delivery costs, will be refunded within 14 days, using the same payment method, unless otherwise agreed.

8.4 - The Customer must return the goods to Easetep within 14 days of communication of the withdrawal decision, assuming the direct costs of the return, unless otherwise agreed.

8.5 - The right of free withdrawal does not apply to personalized products or products produced according to the customer's specifications, or cut to size, as provided for in paragraph c) of article 17 of Decree-Law no. 24/2014.
9.1 - Products sold by Easetep benefit from a 2-year legal guarantee of conformity, under the terms of Decree-Law No. 84/2021, starting from the invoice date.

9.2 - In the event of a defect or non-conformity, the Customer must notify Easetep of the occurrence via the email address geral@easetep.com, indicating:
- The order number,
- A detailed description of the defect,
- Photographs of the product.

9.3 - Easetep undertakes, as applicable, to repair, replace or refund defective products, at no additional cost to the Customer, provided that:
- The defect is within the warranty period,
- And does not result from misuse or improper installation by the Customer.

9.4 - The warranty does not cover defects resulting from:
- Incorrect or defective installation,
- Use in environments aggressive or corrosive,
- Exposure to gases or chemicals,
- Excessive humidity or infiltration,
- Improper handling,
- Lack of adequate maintenance.

9.5 - The thermal stability of the fabrics used in Easetep products is guaranteed between 0°C and 30°C.
If there is a possibility of exposure to lower or higher temperatures, a technical consultation is recommended prior to ordering.

9.6 - The Easetep digital catalog is prepared with the utmost care. However, slight variations in color or texture may occur between the images displayed on the screen and the actual products, due to differences in display on electronic devices.
Easetep will not accept complaints based on these differences, as this is a foreseeable technical limitation and not a manufacturing defect.
10.1 - All return requests must be previously analyzed and validated by Easetep's technical/sales service, and will be accepted if the necessary conditions are met to guarantee the quality of the product and its reuse or replacement.

10.2 - After formal acceptance of the return request, the Customer must fully complete the return form provided by Easetep for this purpose. This form must accompany the returned product(s), otherwise the return will not be accepted.
11.1 - Easetep provides an after-sales assistance service, intended for the replacement of components, integral parts or accessories of the products supplied, namely:
- Mosquito nets damaged (e.g. by animals),
- Or any other elements susceptible to replacement as a result of wear, misuse or accidental damage.

11.2 - To request this service, the Customer must contact Easetep services via email: geral@easetep.com, or by telephone 243309776 or 917234605 or through any available digital channel, as published on the official website.
12.1 - All content on www.easetep.com, including texts, images, logos, graphics, videos and software, is the exclusive property of Easetep / Tepsol or duly authorized third parties, and is protected by intellectual and industrial property rights.

12.2 - The reproduction, copying, distribution, modification or any other form of unauthorized use of the contents of this website is strictly prohibited, unless with the prior written consent of Easetep.
13.1 - Easetep undertakes to make every effort to ensure that the information presented on the website is error-free and up-to-date. However, occasional lapses may occur, and therefore the absolute accuracy of all content cannot be guaranteed.

13.2 - Easetep shall not be held liable for damages resulting from interference, interruptions, computer viruses, malfunctions or disconnections of the operating system, beyond its control, which may temporarily prevent access to or navigation of the website.

13.3 - Easetep's liability for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the website is limited to the value of the order placed by the Customer.

14.1 - These General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use are governed by and construed in accordance with Portuguese Law.

14.2 - In the event of a dispute arising from the interpretation, validity or execution of these Terms and Conditions, the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the District of Santarém, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction.

14.3 - Under Law No. 144/2015, of 8 September, consumers are hereby informed that they may resort to Alternative Consumer Dispute Resolution (ADR) entities in the event of a consumer dispute. The competent entity designated for this purpose is:
